What is HVO Fuel?

Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) is a renewable paraffinic diesel manufactured by treating renewable waste-derived oils and fats with hydrogen under high pressure. This process removes oxygen from the raw material, creating a clean-burning fuel with chemical properties that differ significantly from conventional biodiesel (FAME).
